The Royal Bafokeng Digital Archive is committed to identifying the rightful copyright holders for all archival materials in our collection.
While the Royal Bafokeng Digital Archive provides a key repository for a wide range of archival materials relating to the Royal Bafokeng Digital communities, we are not the copyright-holders for all material. Where we do not hold copyright, we may not grant permission for the reproduction of archival materials held within our collections.
The rights of all copyright holders must be respected, and any restrictions pertaining to the use of archival materials as a consequence of the wishes of copyright holders and / or the law, subject to "fair use" principles allowing limited academic or educational uses, must be complied with. Failure to comply with the above is considered infringement of the intellectual property rights of identified copyright owners and may result in legal action against such person or persons, organizations or institutions.
